A Word From Jennifer Gates,

Welcome to CAPS Collaborative, where we help your student reach their fullest potential.

I am Jennifer Gates, the Executive Director. For over 30 years, I’ve worked in education/special education and for seven of those years, I had the pleasure of leading the transformation of our Gateway Programs as Program Director. I am thrilled to now expand my leadership to the entire CAPS Collaborative organization where I will continue to ensure quality student learning and wellbeing are our top priority.

Our mission is focused on meeting the individualized needs of our diverse student population from across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Ultimately, our goal is to empower them reach their true potential. To do this, our programming is designed to provide the highest quality education in the most inclusive and innovative learning environments possible.

Over and over again, I’m impressed with the diversity of our programming and the caliber of our staff. They could work anywhere in the field of education and they choose to use their expertise to help grow the minds of CAPS students. That speaks volumes to their level of commitment, care and genuine desire to make a difference.

Collaboration is essential to best meet the needs of our students, families and districts, so we work closely with each of you, as well as community agencies and outside service providers to identify and meet the unique needs of each student we serve. This has earned CAPS the reputation of the preferred choice for alternative education.

Wonderful things happen every day here in the programs at CAPS Collaborative! And I am proud to be a part of this dedicated and talented community of people who make CAPS such an outstanding place for our students to thrive.
