Community-Based Support for Adults 22+

Momentum is a community-based day program located in Leominster, Massachusetts. Recognized as a Community-Based Day Support (CBDS) program by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Momentum participants will build skills for greater independence, develop healthy routines, and connect with others in meaningful ways.

A Purpose-Built Environment

Momentum operates from a newly designed, 17,000-square-foot space where every area is customized to promote accessibility, social connection, and personal growth. Participants can take advantage of:

• Teaching kitchen with ADA-compliant appliances and cabinetry for safe meal prep and culinary learning
• Mock apartment for practicing independent living skills such as making the bed, doing laundry, and completing household tasks
• Fitness center with adaptive equipment to help develop healthy movement and exercise habits
• Cafeteria and event space for community connection and social time
• Flexible learning areas for exploring hobbies, job readiness, and lifelong learning

Skill Building and Life Enrichment

Momentum helps adults strengthen independence and prepare for employment or community engagement through a blend of structured learning and personal exploration. Using a person-centered, strengths-based approach that focuses on fostering each individuals goals and interests, they’re encouraged to learn at their own pace, build on their strengths and explore new opportunities.

Momentum’s new space in Leominster is nearing completion, and the program is preparing to welcome its founding participants.
